Welcome to my blog! 

This blog forms part of the Water and Development in Africa course that I am taking at UCL. Over the coming weeks I will be using it as as a space in which to discuss various issues pertaining to the accessibility of water in urban Africa.

In my first post I recognised the discrepancy between being close to an improved water source and having genuine access. In those that follow I intend to explore the constraints faced by Africa's urban dwellers when it comes to accessing water.
